Dang!
The Helicopter Society and the Institute of Electronic & Electrical Engineers sounds like one fun bunch.
Where do I sign up?
RE: “…late Engr. Juriaan Kugger…”
Is Juriaan Kugger habitually late or just the one incident?
Oh, he was habitually late. Mr Kugger was a most agreeable gentlemen but he missed many social gatherings due to his tardiness. One night he kept us waiting in the motorcar for a full three hours while he futzed around with this, that and the other.
Whoever you are, u just made my day!
The company I work for, just got this email scam. After reading it, I thought:
“Another scam!… hummm… first time I hear about this one… let´s see what the internet says about it!”
…and BAM! Your funny response to it, came as one on the top page choices. I cried with laughter. (exagerating a bit) :p
but,…
The annual Helicopter Society pancake breakfast?!?!?!
ahahahaha
That was a good one.
I also liked the “wild times” quote! (ahaha)
That was a crazy old man!… I miss him already.
He seems to have left a lot of beneficiaries to his WILL!
I´m guessing: we´ll all have to share his fortune…?!
…Stepping inside the scammer´s shoes for a moment, to the time when he/she got (would get) your response:
It felt like “The Victim Has Got a Scam Too!” sort of trailler.
Nice one.
Thank you for these happy times!
Best regards,
JDC
You’re welcome JDC!
These scams are particularly annoying when you have traveled a great deal and met lots of odd old characters whose names you can’t remember. I ALWAYS Google the names just in case
