Well, I guess some spam is OK. However their abuse of quotation marks is just unacceptable. Are they saying this jewelry isn’t fine and that it’s actually crap.

Well, you don’t have a category for readers’ contributions – maybe you don’t want ‘em, this being your site – but I got a WTF!?! spam e-mail that I had to drop in somewhere. Here’tis.
The subject line was “World domination is now possible.” I mean, what evil scientist or egomaniacal dictator could resist a line like that?
I’ve been debating whether or not to read it because I’m sure it would be disappointing. I know it’s risky buying nuclear weaponry online; I’ve been ripped off on ebay a couple of times trying to buy surplus warheads.
And if world domination was really possible and you could get it online, don’t you think someone has already emptied their paypal account and is now our Overlord? I still have the same boss (and the same one at work, too) so I don’t think anyone has bit on this one yet.
Oh. It could be an offer for a used death ray in non-working condition. All you have to do is figure out what is wrong with it and “World domination is now possible.” (Warning! Just don’t cut the blue wire when you’re mucking about with the circuit boards. You don’t want to know what happens.)
Yeah… that’s the ticket.
